Big Ten Logo not A 10 (Adpulp)

With the addition of the University of Nebraska, the Big Ten Conference is expanding to 12 teams, a movement which inspired the League to unveil a new logo to be used for all sports from the school year 2011-2012.

According to ESPN, the logo was developed by Michael Bierut and Michael Gericke of Pentagram.

The lettering logo includes an embedded 10 digit "in the word"BIG", which allows fans to see"BIG"and"10"as one word."

The Conference also announced today that its divisions of football from the 2011 season will be "legends" and "leaders". A breakdown of the divisions is below:

Legend: Iowa, Michigan, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern State
LEADERS: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin

"" Captions"are a nod to our history and persons associated with our schools, which are widely recognized as legends - student-athletes, coaches, alumni and faculty.""Leaders look to the future that we remain committed to foster leadership, student-athletes are encouraged to conduct their own way, for the rest of their lives, in their families, their communities and their chosen professions," said Big Ten Commissioner James e. Delany.

That perhaps speak of sports leaders don't like it but they are not alone.

Daily Saturday must be said of the "B" in the Big Ten "are clearly boobs." Graphic design school teaches the incoming students rule is be sure to put boobs somewhere in your design. People like breasts, even women and gay men. Breasts are the cornerstone of any design work, and design their lack would not be liked or recognized as words by anyone.
