Bank world leader set to welcome India (AFP)

WASHINGTON (AFP) - the World Bank President Robert Zoellick opens a four day visit to India Monday where he was welcomed efforts by the countries emerging big on its increasing role in the global economy.

His visit, Mr Zoellick will meet leaders of Government, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

«Discussions with the Prime Minister and the Government will also cover cooperation on global issues, including preparations for the next meetings of the G-20,» says Zoellick Office.

She added "the work of the World Bank and the India closely on climate change, including save them wild tiger, trade and regional integration of biodiversity".
